Hello World,
Last night me and my girl went to a movie screening for the movie “A Nightmare on Elm Street” organized by Advertlets at GSC Midvalley Mega Mall. Movie started at 9.00pm and we’re required to collect the tickets at 8.00pm. It seems they had a problem in organizing the seating, but nevertheless kudos to those who manage to arrange it. And also special thanks to a certain someone in the high rank (you know who you are) who manage to secure our tickets and for a very good seats I might add. The movie is more on suspense thriller rather then a horror with a few of weird/out of the plot scenes but it went well.

**Spoiler Alert**
So the movie start, with Dean falling asleep and kill himself in front of a friend which later end up being killed as well and continue to few more friends. At first nobody can see the connections of the victims other than every each one of them are having dreams about a guy wearing a hat, a striped sweater with melting skins named Freddy Krueger trying to kill them. The problem is, the injury they sustained in the dream is real. The reasons seems to be vague in the beginning of the movie but later it was connected well.
The murder scene was done rather good and gory with the blood splashing out and flesh being sliced apart. However the dying scene, for me is not realistic at all. How can the body explode for no reason at all? The scene in the lockup where Jesse’s body burst open, it’s illogical. The scene where Kris who was thrown around her room and end up being sliced, come on people this is not poltergeist. Compare to the first killing (Dean’s) which was made looking like Dean was having a dream of trying to save himself and end up slitting his own throat. IMHO, self inflicting injuries are more believable compared to unexplainable of body injuries.
As for the weird/out of the place scene, I don’t really get the scene where Nancy dreamed about Kris in body bag laughing, didn’t make any sense to me and how come Quintein dreamed about how Freddy was killed by their parents when he shouldn’t have any memory of it (as he never saw it) Hmm
Anyway I give the movie 7.5/10, extra points for the twisted plot. I loved a reverse ending, I assume that Freddy was taking his revenge for the stories the kids made up but it went totally the opposite way. Very nice. So people go watch the movie and enjoy the horror, buhbye.
